The Holt is our central communal space, a relaxed gathering spot for all visitors. Set beneath the shade of a magnificent oak tree, its covered, decked area offers a cool retreat on warm days and a natural hub for meeting others.
Unwind in hammocks along the riverside, build dens, drift off to the gentle sound of flowing water, or bring a celebratory feel by hiring The Holt for your own special gathering. It’s a place to spark new friendships, share stories, and enjoy the simple pleasure of being outdoors.
If you fancy cooking together, bring your fresh ingredients and make use of the shared BBQ, perfect for long, lazy meals in the open air.

The Farm Shop
At the heart of our camping reception sits a small, charming farm shop run on an honesty system, inviting guests to help themselves to fresh, local produce throughout their stay. We proudly offer beef from our own farm, along with lamb, pork, chicken, and free-range eggs sourced from neighbouring farms that share our values of quality and sustainability.
It’s the perfect place to pick up ingredients for a riverside BBQ or a relaxed camp-side meal, adding a delicious taste of the countryside to your Wild Farm Escapes experience.
The Moo-bile Sauna
Coming Soon. Wood-fired sauna experience
Set in its own secluded area, the Moo-bile Sauna experience is our beautiful wood-fired sauna, handcrafted from Western Red Cedar grown at the Stanage Estate and milled and kiln-dried in Herefordshire.
Available for private or guided sessions, you can choose from:
- 30-minute sessions (2 × 10-minute intervals)
- 1-hour sessions (3 × 15-minute intervals)
Morning and evening slots will be available, offering a restorative wellness experience in a peaceful countryside setting. Select a time on our booking app. It will be available for both exclusive use or on a pitch up and pay basis, so don’t panic, there is something there for everyone. Barcode booking coming soon.
To cool down between intervals, enjoy a cold shower, a refreshing plunge, or a revitalising river swim in the Thames.
